Educational purpose only
Auction Foundry provides educational charting tools and general market commentary only. This is not investment, financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice. Nothing on this site, in any script, or in related material is a recommendation, offer, or solicitation to buy or sell any security, future, option, cryptocurrency, or other instrument.
The material is impersonal and general. It is not tailored to your circumstances, and Auction Foundry does not know your objectives, holdings, account size, tax position, or constraints. There are no personalised recommendations, managed accounts, or trade copying. Some tools mark conditions or potential entry locations; these are mechanical chart observations, not instructions to enter or exit a position.
Auction Foundry is not registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as an investment adviser, is not registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission as a commodity trading advisor, and is not a member of the National Futures Association. No trading account is established or maintained with or through Auction Foundry.
Risk of loss
Trading and investing involve risk, including possible loss of principal. Leveraged instruments such as futures and options can lose more than the amount initially committed. Gaps, liquidity constraints, liquidation rules, and execution failures can produce a loss larger than a modeled stop. Indicators can be wrong, delayed, unavailable, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are solely responsible for your decisions and your risk management.
Consider your objectives, experience, and risk tolerance, and consult a qualified, licensed professional before acting.
No performance guarantee
PAST, SIMULATED, HYPOTHETICAL, OR BACK-TESTED RESULTS DO NOT PREDICT FUTURE RESULTS. NO RESULT IS GUARANTEED.
Any figure, example, chart, screenshot, or illustration published here is included to explain how a tool behaves, not to represent what you or anyone else would have earned or will earn. No tool published here is a promise of profit, accuracy, or performance.
Hypothetical and simulated performance
Auction Foundry does not publish equity curves, win rates, or strategy-tester results, and the indicators are descriptive rather than strategies. Where hypothetical or simulated results are ever presented — including anything derived from a strategy tester or applied to historical data — the following limitations are relevant. Any performance presentation must also carry the disclosures required for that presentation; this general page is not a substitute for them.
HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE MANY INHERENT LIMITATIONS, SOME OF WHICH ARE DESCRIBED BELOW. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFITS OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
IN FACT, THERE ARE FREQUENTLY SHARP DIFFERENCES BETWEEN HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND THE ACTUAL RESULTS SUBSEQUENTLY ACHIEVED BY ANY PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM.
ONE OF THE LIMITATIONS OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS IS THAT THEY ARE GENERALLY PREPARED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. IN ADDITION, HYPOTHETICAL TRADING DOES NOT INVOLVE FINANCIAL RISK, AND NO HYPOTHETICAL TRADING RECORD CAN COMPLETELY ACCOUNT FOR THE IMPACT OF FINANCIAL RISK IN ACTUAL TRADING.
FOR EXAMPLE, THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND LOSSES OR TO ADHERE TO A PARTICULAR TRADING PROGRAM IN SPITE OF TRADING LOSSES ARE MATERIAL POINTS WHICH CAN ALSO ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS. THERE ARE NUMEROUS OTHER FACTORS RELATED TO THE MARKETS IN GENERAL OR TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ANY SPECIFIC TRADING PROGRAM WHICH CANNOT BE FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PREPARATION OF HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE RESULTS, ALL OF WHICH CAN ADVERSELY AFFECT ACTUAL TRADING RESULTS.
What the tools do and do not measure
Auction Foundry indicators describe conditions visible on a chart. They are descriptive, not predictive. A score, band, label, level, or overlap identifies that a defined condition is present; it does not measure trade quality, express a probability, or forecast a direction.
Alerts describe events the scripts detect. They are not orders, recommendations, or risk controls. An alert firing is not a reason to trade, and an alert that does not fire is not a reason to stay out. No score, label, alert, or overlap removes the need for independent context and your own risk control.
The manuals state each tool’s calculation, settings, state transitions, failure conditions, and limitations. Read the manual for a tool before relying on what it draws.
Data, availability, and third-party platforms
The indicators run on TradingView and depend on market data supplied through that platform. Data can be delayed, revised, gapped, or wrong; scripts can fail to load, calculate differently across timeframes or symbols, or become unavailable. Auction Foundry does not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, continued TradingView compatibility, or that any market data, alert, or calculation will be timely, complete, or accurate. Verify anything material before you act on it.
“TradingView” is a trademark of TradingView, Inc. Auction Foundry is independent of and not affiliated with TradingView, Inc.
The risk planner
The risk planner is a planning aid, not a broker tool. Calculations include the cost assumptions displayed in the planner, including editable defaults and any extra slippage you enter. These estimates may omit actual charges and execution effects. Verify the displayed fees, spreads, contract specifications, and conversion assumptions with the relevant broker or exchange. The planner does not calculate margin requirements, liquidation rules, financing charges, or taxes, and an entered slippage estimate cannot capture all execution risk. It does not monitor your brokerage account, open positions, margin, or correlated exposure, and it does not tell you what to risk. Actual fills can be materially different from any figure it shows.
No advisory relationship
Accessing an Auction Foundry tool, reading the material, or contacting Auction Foundry does not create an advisory, fiduciary, brokerage, or client relationship or any duty to consider your individual circumstances. Auction Foundry does not act as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading advisor, or futures commission merchant.
Documentation status
Auction Foundry builds and documents in public. Some indicators and manuals are explicitly marked as pending verification, publication, or QA, and those markers mean what they say: the build described may still change before release. Treat anything so marked as work in progress rather than a finished, validated product.
Changes, questions, and related documents
This disclosure is versioned and dated at the top of the page. It will be revised when what Auction Foundry publishes materially changes, and a superseded version never applies retroactively to a period before its effective date.
